Grazing the Meadow

Last updated: March 2026

By spending time on this site you accept the terms below, which cover our pastures, our paddocks and the stories we publish about the herd. They're kept short on purpose, because they're meant to actually be read, not skimmed past.

Muscular Hoofs!

Read it, share it, quote it, tell your neighbors at the fence line. Please don't scrape the whole meadow of stories at once, strip the formatting, break the herd records, or spoil the experience for other readers who stop by the ranch.

Grazing Days

Everything here comes from actual time spent with the herd, and conditions out on the pasture change by the season, by the weather, even by the hour. Nothing here is advice for managing your own bovine stock: every rancher knows their land, their fencing and their muscular animals better than anyone writing from a distance, and stays responsible for decisions made out in the field.

Oxen Pulling the Cart

Short quotes with a link back are always fine, light as hoofs on soft ground. For anything longer, ask first.

Life on the Ranch

If you send us a message, a pitch, a question about the herd, or a correction to something we got wrong, you're giving us permission to reply, and — where it matters — to publish that correction for other folks working the same grazingland.

Links to Other Farms

We sometimes link out to other ranches. Those pages aren't ours, and we can't speak for their Mooing or methods.

Grazing

These terms may be updated as the ranch grows and the herd changes. The date at the top always shows which version is current, so you'll know if anything's new.
